Over 90 years in the powertrain industry and still going strong! Rotax® engines are at the heart and soul of countless products. BRP’s Austrian facility oversees the worldwide development and production of Rotax engines.
In fact, BRP has developed more than 350 engine models for recreational products and produced more than 7 million engines.
You will find Rotax engines in Ski-Doo® and Lynx® snowmobiles, Sea-Doo® watercraft, Can-Am® all-terrain and side-by-side vehicles and roadsters, as well as motorcycles and karts, even in light and ultra light aircraft.
Our global workforce consists of more than 7,100 employees: More than 1,100 of them are employed at the Gunskirchen site alone. And over 200 of these employees are dedicated to research & development.

Designed for people with kart racing experience as well as for ambitious leisure kart drivers. Top level performance of the non-gearbox class. Launched in 1997, the engine is recommended for drivers 15 years and older.

More performance and perfect for juniors with karting experience. With the 125 Junior MAX evo engine, you can have your first international racing experience. Launched in 2000 and recommended for teenagers from 13-16 years.

125 MAX DD2 EVO

The chainless drive concept is combined with a 2-speed gearbox operated by means of shift paddles directly from the steering wheel. Ideal for drivers aged 15 years and older* with know-how in kart racing, the engine is the closest to Formula car racing. Launched in 2002, the revolutionary engine gave rise to the development of chassis by all leading manufacturers.

125 MICRO MAX EVO

EVO-EN-RX-MICROME

The engine with its 8 hp and good torque forgives driving mistakes and is therefore perfect for the youngest to gain their first experiences in karting. Launched in 2007 and recommended for kids from 8-10 years. Only the fuel capacity will stop you from continuing karting.

125 MINI MAX EVO

EVO-EN-RX-MINIME

This engine is the logical next step after the 125 Micro MAX evo engine with increased performance to 15 hp. It is perfect for kids with some karting experience. Launched in 2004 and designed for drivers from 10-13 years.
